18 exam papers in all at ICAP's rates from 1 July 2026. Classes at a college or tutor (RAET) are charged separately by the college and are not included. Fees rise most years, so a later sitting can cost more.

After intermediate, ICAP's own fees for the whole CA qualification come to about Rs 333,700 if you pass every paper at the first attempt, stay registered for 5 years and join as an ACA member. That covers registration, three PRC papers, English Communication Skills, eight CAF papers, two hands-on courses, six CFAP papers, two integrated modules and the Strategic Case Study. Classes at a college or tutor are charged on top by the college.

Pick your entry route below: graduates, ACCA, CIMA, ICMAP and PIPFA members skip PRC or some CAF papers but pay an exemption fee instead. Add retakes and the number of exam sittings, because ICAP charges a full fee for the first paper of each sitting and less for every extra paper in it. Fees are ICAP's schedule in force from 1 July 2026 (Autumn 2026).

How ICAP charges its fees

ICAP fees fall into a few kinds, and the calculator adds each one you will pay.

  • Registration. Registration as a full-time student is Rs 22,000 and registration as training on probation (joining a firm as a trainee) is Rs 26,700. Students with 50% to 59% in intermediate first pass the QAT, which costs Rs 6,400.
  • Exams, per sitting. CAF and GCC: Rs 7,000 for the first paper in a sitting and Rs 4,600 for each extra paper. CFAP: Rs 14,400 and Rs 5,700. Each PRC paper is Rs 7,500 and the Strategic Case Study is Rs 31,900.
  • Exemptions, per paper. PRC Rs 6,100, CAF Rs 7,400 and CFAP Rs 11,300. ACCA, CIMA, ICMAP and PIPFA members pay a set amount instead.
  • Courses and modules. English Communication Skills, Presentation and Personal Effectiveness, MS Office for Business (three papers: Excel, Word and PowerPoint), and the integrated modules on AI and Data Analytics and on Governance and Ethics.
  • Every year. The annual subscription of Rs 6,500. Unpaid years must be cleared later, except years in which ICAP barred you from exams.

Because the first paper in each sitting costs more, four CAF papers in one sitting cost Rs 20,800, against Rs 28,000 taken one at a time. At CAF you may take at most 4 papers in a sitting, and Group B papers open once you pass two Group A papers. At CFAP you take at least two papers a sitting unless only one is left.

Worked examples

After intermediate, every paper passed first time

  • Registration: Rs 22,000 + Rs 26,700 = Rs 48,700
  • PRC: 3 × Rs 7,500, plus English Communication Skills at the ICAP lab Rs 16,500 = Rs 39,000
  • CAF in two sittings of four: 2 × Rs 7,000 + 6 × Rs 4,600, plus PPE Rs 7,500 and MS Office 3 × Rs 7,700 = Rs 72,200
  • CFAP in three sittings of two: 3 × Rs 14,400 + 3 × Rs 5,700, plus the two modules at Rs 7,500 each = Rs 75,300
  • Strategic Case Study: Rs 31,900
  • Subscription for 5 years: Rs 32,500
  • ACA admission Rs 500 and first year's membership Rs 33,600 = Rs 34,100
  • Total: Rs 333,700

With the QAT and two CAF retakes (ten CAF papers need at least three sittings), the total becomes Rs 351,700.

BBA from an RDAI, with two CFAP retakes

A 4-year relevant degree from a Relevant Degree Awarding Institute is exempt from PRC and five CAF papers (CAF-1, 3, 4, 6 and 7), subject to ICAP's marks criteria.

  • Trainee registration: Rs 26,700
  • CAF exemption fee: 5 × Rs 7,400 = Rs 37,000
  • Remaining three CAF papers in one sitting: Rs 7,000 + 2 × Rs 4,600 = Rs 16,200
  • MS Office exemption: Rs 7,500
  • CFAP, six papers plus two retakes in four sittings: Rs 80,400
  • Total with the Case Study, 4 years' subscription and ACA membership: Rs 274,800

ACCA member who passed AAA

ICAP exempts PRC and four CAF papers (1, 5, 6 and 8) for a set fee of Rs 29,600. The other four CAF papers in one sitting cost Rs 20,800. With both registrations, the hands-on courses, CFAP, the Case Study, 4 years' subscription and membership, the total is Rs 297,000. Compare with staying on the ACCA route on the acca fee structure in pakistan page, or see what CA gets you exempted from ACCA in the acca exemption calculator.

Does the ICAP fee include academy or college fees?

No. ICAP charges registration, exam, exemption, course and subscription fees only. Classes are given by Registered Accountancy Education Tutors (RAETs) and colleges, which set their own fees; ICAP tells students to contact them directly. PRC, CFAP and the Case Study can also be self-studied.
