LESCO is the Lahore Electric Supply Company. It serves Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. It charges the same national uniform tariff as every other company, so the calculator uses the NEPRA rates directly.
LESCO unit price today
The LESCO base rate for homes depends on your slab and consumer type. Protected homes pay Rs 10.54 for the first 100 units and Rs 13.01 for the next 100. Unprotected homes pay from Rs 22.44 (up to 100 units) to Rs 47.20 (above 700 units).
At 250 units an unprotected home is in the 201 to 300 slab, so all 250 units are charged Rs 33.10. Add the September adjustments and surcharge and each unit carries another Rs 5.81 before tax. The unit price page shows the all-in figure at every slab.
This calculator covers homes only. LESCO commercial and industrial connections are on different tariffs.

Your printed figures may differ by a rupee or two because LESCO rounds each line. Meter rent, if your bill shows one, is added before GST.
Electricity duty on LESCO bills
Punjab passed a law in 2025 that exempts domestic users from electricity duty. Even so, a LESCO bill for April 2026, published in the press, still showed duty at exactly 1.5%.
So check your own bill for a line called "electricity duty" or "ED". If it is there, leave the duty box ticked. If it is missing, untick it under Adjustments and taxes. For the 250 unit example, removing duty brings the bill to Rs 12,303.71, a saving of Rs 156.48.

Reading your LESCO bill
You need three things from the bill for this calculator.
- Units consumed. The present reading minus the previous reading. It is also printed as a single figure.
- Sanctioned load. Shown in kW. Fixed charges are this figure times the slab's rate, so a 3 kW home pays half as much again as a 2 kW home.
- FPA and QTA rates. If the bill lists the per unit figures, type them into the adjustment boxes for an exact match.
The reference number identifies your connection. You do not need it for the calculator.

What is the LESCO per unit price in 2026?
The base rate is Rs 10.54 to Rs 13.01 for protected homes and Rs 22.44 to Rs 47.20 for unprotected homes, under the NEPRA tariff in force since February 2026. After adjustments and taxes, 250 unprotected units work out at about Rs 49.84 per unit.
Is LESCO more expensive than other companies?
No. LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO and the rest all charge the same uniform national tariff. The fuel and quarterly adjustments are also identical. Two LESCO neighbours can still get different bills if one is protected, has a bigger sanctioned load, or is not on the Active Taxpayers List.
Why does my LESCO bill still show electricity duty?
Punjab exempted homes from electricity duty in 2025, but LESCO bills in 2026 have still carried a 1.5% duty line. We could not find an official notice settling this. Go by your own bill and untick the duty box if the line is absent.
How much is a 300 unit LESCO bill?
At September 2026 rates, 300 units for an unprotected home with 2 kW load comes to about Rs 14,787 including duty and GST. At 301 units it rises to about Rs 16,163, because every unit moves to the Rs 36.46 slab and the fixed charge goes up.
Does this LESCO calculator include the October 2026 fuel adjustment?
Not yet. It uses the July 2026 fuel adjustment of Rs 2.0581, which is on September bills. NEPRA heard a request for Rs 1.73 per unit for August on 29 September 2026. Once decided, type the new figure into the FCA box.
