Fewer than 12 or more than 18 credit hours
A student taking under 12 credit hours is part-time and pays per credit instead of the semester fee. Above 18, each extra credit hour is charged on top of the full semester fee.
- Part-time, BS Computer Science, 9 credit hours: 9 × Rs 23,913 = Rs 215,217 for the semester.
- Overload, BS Computer Science, 21 credit hours: Rs 412,500 + 3 × Rs 23,913 = Rs 484,239.
- BS / BST at 15 credit hours: inside the full-time band, so the flat Rs 317,500.
FCCU hostel fee, Fall 2026
Occupancy fee for one semester for freshmen, paid in four instalments: at admission, 7 October, 11 November and 9 December 2026. The mess is compulsory; extra meals and breakfast are charged separately.

For Fall 2026 a triple room is Rs 66,000 and a single room Rs 140,000 for the semester, plus Rs 35,275 for the compulsory mess. New residents also pay a Rs 18,000 registration fee and a Rs 45,000 refundable security once.
Is the FCCU security deposit refundable?
Yes. The Rs 35,000 security deposit paid at admission is refundable, and FCCU has a security refund form for claiming it; the Rs 35,000 admission fee is not.
Does FCCU charge advance tax on the fee?
FCCU collects 5% advance tax where the annual fee is above Rs 200,000 in a July to June year. Fees paid through a scholarship are not counted. The tax can be adjusted against the income tax of the parent or guardian who pays the fee.
Why is my FCCU fee lower than the new rate?
