UET Lahore grades theory subjects on a relative scale, so there is no fixed table from marks to grades. Your GPA comes from your letter grades: A+ and A are 4.0, A- 3.7, B+ 3.3, B 3.0, down to D at 1.0.

A+ and A both carry 4.0, so an A+ does not raise your GPA above an A. D is the lowest passing grade.
How UET grades theory and practical subjects
UET splits subjects into two types:
- Type-A (theory): graded on a relative scale. The teacher sets the pass threshold and the top cut-off, and the grades in between are set by clusters around the class mean and spread.
- Type-B (practical): may be graded on an absolute scale, at the teacher's discretion.
So the same marks can earn different grades in different subjects. That is why this calculator takes letters, not marks.

GPA = 48.30 ÷ 14 = 3.45.
The weak lab grade costs little because it is only 1 credit hour. If Lab 2 were a 3 credit hour theory subject with the same C-, the GPA would fall to 3.23.
Degree and honours. UET requires a minimum CGPA of 2.0 for a degree, and honours are awarded at 3.70 or above. These rules and points come from the 2015 regulations. UET may have issued newer regulations that we could not access. Can I calculate my UET GPA from marks?
Not for theory subjects. UET grades Type-A (theory) subjects relatively, so there is no fixed marks table. Practical subjects may be graded on an absolute scale at the teacher's choice. Use the letter grades on your result to get an exact GPA.
