Your UET Lahore aggregate is 33% of your ECAT percentage, plus 50% of your FSc Part I percentage, plus 17% of your Matric percentage. The FSc part uses first-year marks only, not full FSc, because UET makes merit before the Part II result.
ECAT is out of 400 (100 MCQs at 4 marks each, no negative marking). You need an aggregate of at least 50% to be considered.
The UET formula
Aggregate = (ECAT ÷ 400 × 33) + (FSc Part I ÷ Part I total × 50) + (Matric ÷ Matric total × 17)

This is unusual. At UET, one Part I mark is worth slightly more than one ECAT mark. Your first-year result carries half the merit, so a weak Part I is hard to make up in the test.
Worked example
A student scores 250 out of 400 in ECAT, 470 out of 550 in FSc Part I and 1,000 out of 1,100 in Matric.
- ECAT: 250 ÷ 400 × 33 = 20.6250
- FSc Part I: 470 ÷ 550 × 50 = 42.7273
- Matric: 1,000 ÷ 1,100 × 17 = 15.4545
- Aggregate: 78.8068%
A common mistake is to enter full FSc marks out of 1,100. That is not UET's method, and it gives a different answer whenever your Part I and Part II percentages differ.

Hafiz-e-Quran. A UET committee awards 0 to 20 marks after an oral test. The prospectus does not say which part they are added to, so this calculator does not add them. ECAT total. The 400-mark total is from secondary sources; it was not in the prospectus text we read.

UET aggregate questions
How is the UET Lahore aggregate calculated?
UET uses 33% ECAT, 50% FSc Part I and 17% Matric. For 250/400 in ECAT, 470/550 in Part I and 1,000/1,100 in Matric the aggregate is 20.625 + 42.7273 + 15.4545 = 78.8068%. This is the Fall 2026 prospectus rule for Intermediate students.
Does UET use full FSc or only Part I marks?
Only FSc Part I (first year). UET prepares its merit lists before the Part II result, so the prospectus names first-year marks. Calculators that ask for FSc out of 1,100 do not follow UET's official method.
What is the minimum aggregate for UET?
The Fall 2026 prospectus sets a minimum aggregate of 50%. Meeting it only makes you eligible. Your programme and campus depend on how your aggregate ranks against other candidates that year, so a figure just above 50% rarely leads to a seat in popular disciplines.
Is ECAT out of 400?
ECAT is reported as 100 MCQs at 4 marks each with no negative marking, so 400 in total. The prospectus text we read did not state the total. If your result card shows a different figure, change the "Out of" box.
Do Hafiz-e-Quran students get extra marks at UET?
Yes, up to 20 marks, awarded by a UET committee after an oral test. The prospectus does not say which component receives them, so this calculator leaves them out. Add them only once UET confirms your marks.
