UET Peshawar ranks BSc engineering applicants on 50% ETEA entrance test, 40% FSc and 10% Matric. So ETEA 70 out of 100, FSc 880 out of 1,100 and Matric 950 out of 1,100 gives an aggregate of 75.6364%.

Aggregate = (ETEA ÷ ETEA total × 50) + (FSc ÷ 1,100 × 40) + (Matric ÷ 1,100 × 10)

ETEA 70 out of 100, FSc 880 out of 1,100, Matric 950 out of 1,100.
- ETEA: 70 ÷ 100 × 50 = 35.0000
- FSc: 880 ÷ 1,100 × 40 = 32.0000
- Matric: 950 ÷ 1,100 × 10 = 8.6364
- Aggregate: 75.6364%
The entrance test carries half the merit. Each percentage point in ETEA is worth 0.5 aggregate points, while each percentage point in FSc is worth 0.4. Ten extra ETEA percentage points lift the aggregate by five points.

Eligibility and quirks
- Minimum FSc. UET Peshawar's admission portal asks for more than 60% unadjusted marks in intermediate, whatever your Part I percentage or ETEA score.
- Part I or Part II. You can sit the ETEA test after either part of intermediate. If your Part II result is awaited, you can enter Part I marks out of 550 as an estimate, since the calculator works on the percentage. Your final merit uses the intermediate marks the university records from your admission form.
- Hafiz-e-Quran. The university awards 20 extra marks to verified Hafiz-e-Quran candidates. They are added by the university after its own check, so they are not included here.
- Interviews. Selected candidates are called to the main campus in Peshawar before admission is confirmed.

How is the UET Peshawar aggregate calculated?
It is 50% of your ETEA percentage, 40% of your FSc percentage and 10% of your Matric percentage. ETEA 70/100, FSc 880/1,100 and Matric 950/1,100 give 35 + 32 + 8.6364 = 75.6364%.
What ETEA score do I need for UET Peshawar?
It depends on your board marks and the programme's closing merit. With FSc 880 and Matric 950, you need about 69% in ETEA for a 75% aggregate and 79% for 80%. Enter your own marks and a target above to see your figure.
Can I apply to UET Peshawar with less than 60% in FSc?
No. The admission portal asks for more than 60% unadjusted marks in intermediate. A strong ETEA score does not make up for an FSc below that line.
Do Hafiz-e-Quran candidates get extra marks at UET Peshawar?
Yes. UET Peshawar awards 20 extra marks to Hafiz-e-Quran candidates once the university has verified them. The calculator leaves them out, so add them only after the verification result.
