Fiverr keeps 20% of every order, including extras and tips, so a $100 order leaves $80 in your Fiverr balance. From there a Pakistani seller pays a payout fee of $1 (bank transfer via Payoneer) or $3 (to a Payoneer account), a currency margin when dollars become rupees, and 1% income tax, or 0.25% with PSEB registration.
A $500 order sent to a Payoneer account and on to your bank ends up at about Rs 105,649 at the interbank rate of Rs 277.12. Change the order value, payout method or dollar rate above to see your own figure.
Fiverr earnings in rupees
One order, withdrawn on its own to a Payoneer account ($3), with Payoneer's published maximum margin of 3% and Rs 277.12 a dollar.

How Fiverr fees work for sellers
- 20% seller fee. Fiverr takes a flat 20% of the order total. There are no lower rates for higher seller levels.
- Tips are included. A $10 tip gives you $8.
- The buyer's service fee is not yours. Buyers pay Fiverr a separate service charge on top of your price. It does not come out of your earnings, so ignore it when you price a gig.
- Clearance. Earnings are held for 14 days after an order is completed, or 7 days for Top Rated, Fiverr Pro and some Seller Plus sellers.
To take home a set amount
Divide what you want to keep by 0.8. To take home $100 before withdrawal, charge $125. To keep $40, charge $50.
Worked example: a month of orders
Ahsan completes orders worth $600 in a month, tips included, and withdraws once by bank transfer via Payoneer.
- Fiverr fee: 600 × 20% = $120, leaving $480
- Payout fee: $1, leaving $479
- At Rs 277.12: Rs 132,740.48
- Conversion margin of 3%: Rs 3,982.21, leaving Rs 128,758.27
- Tax at 1%: Rs 1,287.58
- In his account: Rs 127,470.68
If he had withdrawn after every order, four times in the month, to a Payoneer account at $3 each, he would have ended up with Rs 124,543.38. Fewer payouts save money.

Fiverr's help centre lists these fees, with a limit of $5,000 a transaction. The Fiverr Revenue Card was discontinued in December 2022. Payoneer then converts dollars to rupees. Its pricing page shows up to 3% for a withdrawal in a different currency, which is the figure the calculator starts with; your own account may show a lower rate, so enter that instead.
On the rupees that reach you, the bank deducts income tax under section 154A: 1% as standard, 0.25% for PSEB registered IT and IT enabled exporters. The freelancer tax calculator explains the tax side in more detail, and the Upwork fee calculator does the same sums for Upwork.
