UET Taxila gives A 4.00, A- 3.67, B+ 3.33, B 3.00, B- 2.67, C+ 2.33, C 2.00, C- 1.67 and D 1.00. There is no D+. These points apply from Session 2023 onward; earlier sessions used 3.70, 3.30, 2.70, 2.30 and 1.70 for the minus and plus grades.

Where a course has more than ten students, grading is usually relative, on a normal curve with B- as the preferred class average. In that case your letter grade comes from your position in the class, not from these marks bands.
What changed in 2023
The 2023 rule book moved the plus and minus grades to thirds of a grade point, the same values UET Peshawar uses. The same letters now carry slightly fewer points:

The class average under relative grading also moved from B to B-. The calculator uses the 2023 points. If you were admitted before 2023, your transcript may show the older values; enter those in grade points mode instead.

SGPA = 40.68 ÷ 14 = 2.91.
Under section 1.8(d) only grades below C can be improved, so Course 4 (C-) could be repeated. Raising it to C would add 0.33 × 4 = 1.32 quality points and lift this semester to 42.00 ÷ 14 = 3.00.
UET Taxila GPA questions
What is the grading system at UET Taxila?
From Session 2023 the points are A 4.00, A- 3.67, B+ 3.33, B 3.00, B- 2.67, C+ 2.33, C 2.00, C- 1.67, D 1.00 and F 0.00. For absolute grading the guide bands are A 90 to 100, A- 85 to 89, B+ 80 to 84, B 75 to 79, down to D at 50 to 54.
Is grading at UET Taxila relative or absolute?
Usually relative. The rule book says grading is carried out on a normal distribution curve, preferably with B- as the class average, where more than ten students take the course. The marks bands are a guide for absolute grading and project evaluation.
What CGPA is needed for a UET Taxila degree?
A minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 over all passed semesters. A student whose CGPA falls below 1.0 at the set checkpoints is placed on academic probation, and failing to recover can mean removal from the rolls.
Which grades can I improve at UET Taxila?
