How the Air University semester fee is worked out
Semester fee = credit hours × tuition rate + miscellaneous charges. Miscellaneous charges are Rs 6,000 in the first semester and Rs 5,500 from the second semester onwards.
The first semester also carries three one-time charges: the Rs 20,000 admission fee, the Rs 5,000 endowment fund and the Rs 10,000 security deposit. Rates differ by programme: for example, Rs 5,900 per credit hour for BS English and Rs 9,150 for computing programmes.
