QESCO is the Quetta Electric Supply Company. It covers Quetta and Balochistan except Lasbela. Lasbela is supplied by K-Electric instead. QESCO homes are billed on the same national tariff as the rest of the country.

What the charges add per unit

The rounded parts add up to Rs 49.49. Quetta winters are cold, and heating can push a home from the 201 to 300 slab into 301 to 400, where every unit costs Rs 36.46.
Electricity duty in Balochistan
Electricity duty on homes has historically been 1.5% in Balochistan. The federal Power Division said in July 2025 that it would stop collecting duty through bills. We have not found a 2026 notice for QESCO. Check your bill and untick the duty box if there is no duty line. For 280 units the estimate without duty is Rs 13,681.04.

The calculator needs the units consumed for the month and your sanctioned load in kW. If the fuel or quarterly adjustment on your bill is a different figure, change the defaults under Adjustments and taxes.
Agricultural tube-well connections, common in Balochistan, are on a separate tariff and are not covered here.

About Rs 13,856 for an unprotected 2 kW home at September 2026 rates, including 1.5% duty and 18% GST. Without duty it is about Rs 13,681.
How much would 200 units cost on QESCO?
About Rs 9,012 if unprotected, at Rs 28.91 per unit. A protected home pays much less, about Rs 4,907, because its first 100 units cost Rs 10.54 and the next 100 cost Rs 13.01.
Does this calculator work for tube-well connections?
No. It is for domestic connections under 5 kW. Agricultural and commercial connections have different rates and rules.
