A tourist visa is sponsored by a licensed tourism company in Dubai, and only accredited tourism offices can issue it. Travel agents and airlines in Pakistan arrange it through such a company and add their own charge. Enter that charge above to see what you will pay in all, or pick the family visit visa if a relative living in the UAE is sponsoring you.
Dubai tourist visa fees for Pakistanis

Rupee amounts use Rs 75.43 per dirham: the State Bank dollar rate of 8 October 2026 divided by the dirham's fixed rate of 3.6725 to the US dollar. A multiple entry visa lets you leave the UAE and come back while it is valid.
Family visit visa: a relative or friend in the UAE sponsors you
A UAE citizen or resident can sponsor a relative or friend for one entry of 30, 60 or 90 days. The visitor's medical insurance is part of the fee:
| Visa | Fee | VAT 5% | Insurance | Total | About, in rupees |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visit visa for a relative or friend, 30 days | AED 200 | AED 10 | AED 40 | AED 250 | Rs 18,858 |

The sponsor also pays a security deposit of AED 1,000, which is refunded later, plus AED 20 deposit service fee and AED 40 for collecting and refunding it. Proof of the relationship and the reason for the visit must be attached. The sponsor applies on the GDRFA website or app, or at an Amer centre.
What the government fee does not cover
Agent and airline charges
The GDRFA fee is what the sponsor pays to the government. Your travel agent or airline adds a charge for its service and for the tourism company that sponsors you. Ask for a written breakdown per person and enter the agent's part in the calculator. The result then shows the government part and the agent part separately.
A visitor already inside the UAE
If the visa is issued while the visitor is already in the country, GDRFA adds a Knowledge Dirham of AED 10, an Innovation Dirham of AED 10 and a fee of AED 500 for each person. Tick the box above to include them.
Documents for a Pakistani passport
- One personal photo
- A copy of a passport valid for at least 6 months
- A copy of your national identity card (CNIC), which GDRFA asks for from Pakistani, Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan applicants
- A return or onward ticket and medical insurance valid in the UAE
GDRFA expects to complete an application within 48 hours. Before you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date.
Worked examples
A family of four on a 30-day tourist visa
Two parents and two children book through an agent who quotes Rs 5,000 per person on top of the government fee.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Visa fee, 4 x AED 200 | AED 800 |
| VAT 5% | AED 40 |
| Agent charge, 4 x Rs 5,000 | Rs 20,000 |
| Total | Rs 83,361 |
The dirham part is converted at Rs 75.43. Without the agent's charge the family would pay Rs 63,361 in government fees.
A mother visiting her son in Dubai for 60 days
Her son, a UAE resident, sponsors a family visit visa. He pays AED 1,435 up front: the AED 300 visa fee, AED 15 VAT, AED 60 insurance, the AED 1,000 deposit and AED 60 deposit fees. That is about Rs 108,242. Once the deposit is refunded, the visit has cost about Rs 32,812.
These are the fees GDRFA Dubai lists for visas sponsored in Dubai. Visas sponsored in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates are issued by the federal ICP, which sets its own fees. Agents' prices change often, so confirm the total with your agent before paying.
Questions people ask
What is the Dubai visa fee for Pakistanis in 2026?
The GDRFA Dubai fee is AED 200 for a 30-day single entry tourist visa and AED 300 for 60 days, plus 5% VAT. At the State Bank dollar rate of 8 October 2026, the 30-day visa is about Rs 15,840 before the agent's charge. Agents and airlines add their own service charge, so the price you are quoted will be higher.
How much is the Dubai 60 days visit visa fee from Pakistan?
A 60-day single entry tourist visa costs AED 300 plus AED 15 VAT, so AED 315 or about Rs 23,760. A 60-day multiple entry visa costs AED 500 plus VAT. Add your agent's charge for the full price.
How do I calculate the Dubai visa fee for a family?
Multiply the visa fee by the number of travellers, add 5% VAT on the visa fees and then add the agent's charge for each person. Children pay the same visa fee as adults. For a family visit visa also add insurance for each person and the refundable deposit. The calculator does all of this and converts it to rupees.
Why is the agent's price higher than the government fee?
A tourist visa has to be sponsored by a tourism company in the UAE. The agent or airline pays the government fee through that company and adds its own charge for the service. Ask for a written breakdown and compare the government part with the table on this page.
Is the security deposit for a family visit visa refunded?
Yes. The AED 1,000 financial security deposit for a relative or friend visa is refundable once the visitor leaves under the visa rules. The AED 20 deposit service fee and the AED 40 collection and refund fee are not returned. A tourist visa needs no deposit.
What is the UAE visa fee for Abu Dhabi or Sharjah?
Visas sponsored outside Dubai are issued by the federal Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security authority (ICP), which publishes its own fees. The figures on this page are GDRFA Dubai fees for visas sponsored in Dubai, which is the route most travel agents in Pakistan use.
