An MCB Bank IBAN is PK, two check digits, MUCB and your 16-digit account number exactly as it is. MCB itself says the last 16 characters of the IBAN are the customer's existing account number.

MCB's own IBAN page gives this example: account 0646609971000177 becomes PK24 MUCB 0646 6099 7100 0177. Our calculator gives exactly that, and the same rule matches real MCB IBANs published with their account numbers by TCF and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust. Some statements print the 16 digits in groups, such as 01234 56 78 9012345; type them all, spaces are ignored.
Where to find your MCB IBAN
Your 16-digit account number is on your cheque book and statement, and in the MCB Live app with the IBAN under account details. MCB asks customers to give their IBAN to anyone sending them an international remittance or interbank transfer.
MCB Lite is a mobile wallet whose account number is an 11-digit mobile number, and MCB Islamic Bank is a separate bank with its own code, MCIB. Use the IBAN generator for all banks for MCB Islamic.

- Remainder after dividing by 97: 7. Check digits: 98 minus 7 = 91.

MCB IBAN questions
How many digits is an MCB account number?
Sixteen. The IBAN uses all 16 unchanged, after PK, two check digits and MUCB, giving 24 characters. If yours looks shorter, check the cheque book; statements sometimes split it into groups.
What is MCB's IBAN bank code?
MUCB, the first four letters of MCB's SWIFT code. MCB Islamic Bank uses MCIB instead, so check which bank your account is with.
Does MCB's IBAN include the branch code?
Not separately. MCB says the last 16 characters of the IBAN are your existing account number, so whatever the 16 digits contain is carried over as it is.
How do I check an MCB IBAN someone sent me?
Switch to Check an IBAN and paste it. The calculator confirms it has 24 characters, starts PK, carries the MUCB code and passes the mod 97 test. It cannot tell you whose account it is; your app shows the title before you confirm the transfer.
