When a child needs a B-form
Schools, board exams, passports and many government schemes ask for a B-form. DGIP asks children aged 10 and over for an updated B-form with fingerprints and a photograph before issuing a passport. Children under 10 can use a B-form or an FRC.
At 18 the B-form is replaced by the Smart ID card, which costs Rs 750 on normal. See the NADRA ID card fee page for renewal and urgent options.
Both parents' ID cards should be valid and the child's birth should already be registered with the union council before you apply.
